Jothi Bharathi Krishnan, PT, BPT

Jothi lives in Ottawa, Canada, and is a Registered Physiotherapy Professional (PT) with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) in 2007 from India. She has worked with the orthopedic specialty and multispecialty hospitals’ multidisciplinary teams in India, providing specialized care and re-habilitation to post-surgical, sports injury and other orthopedic cases.

Jothi brings 15+ years of experience and continuing education training in chronic pain management, acupuncture, concussion, cupping, and Kinesio taping. She has completed her GLAD – Canada program that helps people with hip and knee osteoarthritis. Jothi is also a certified Mckenzie program A, B & C practitioner, which is an evidence based, proven, globally practiced treatment for treating conditions like chronic low back, neck and extremities. 

Jothi is passionate about applying the skills she gained completing level 1 and 2 of the Pelvic Health Solutions certification. These include evidence-based assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of individuals experiencing pelvic pain, incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. 

Jothi is very keen on educating her clients with individualized effective care programs that encompass present problems and injury prevention measures. She believes in a “hands-on” approach to accelerate recovery and provide a personalized level of care in the evidence-based practice.

Jothi takes immense pride in engaging with the local community and is committed to an active, healthy lifestyle. She is an avid bicyclist and yoga enthusiast and enjoys culinary arts while spending quality time with family.
